Information:

Reputed to be one of the most famous theatres in the world, the London Palladium is situated in London's West End in the Borough of Westminster. The current building, listed Grade II by English Heritage, was constructed in 1910 on the site of an interesting variety of entertainment venues, including a circus and an ice skating rink. The 2,286-seat playhouse has been home to a number of international stars over the years, such as Judy Garland, Elaine Paige, Tommy Steele and Danny Kaye, and it has been the venue of several top-rated Live from the Palladium TV variety shows. Hit musicals have enjoyed successful runs at the Palladium, including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Saturday Night Fever, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Sound of Music. The nearest London Underground station is Oxford Circus on the Victoria and Central lines, whereas Euston or Paddington are the closest railway stations.
