Information:

Odeon is the largest chain of cinemas operating in the UK, and entertains the public in more than 100 venues. The Odeon in Leicester Square, London, is the group's flagship cinema, filling the eastern side of the square with its distinctive black granite façade - familiar to film fans the world over as the venue for many a glittering world film premiere. To see it first, the Odeon Leicester Square is the place to be! The Odeon was built in 1937 on the site of the Alhambra music hall, and sports a huge screen with the latest projection and sound equipment, its Art Deco auditorium arranged in stalls and circle, seating 1,683 patrons. Alongside the main cinema is a complex of five smaller, modern theatres known as the Odeon Mezzanine. Leicester Square and Piccadilly Underground stations are five minutes' walk from the Odeon, while Charing Cross is about 10 minutes' walk.
