The Queen's house, situated in Greenwich, was built in1617 for Queen Anne, and is a scheduled ancient monument as well as a grade I listed structure. It is Britain's first classical construction using Palladian architecture, and therefore amongst the most significant edifices in the architectural history of the United Kingdom.
